The singles league will be calculated from each players best scores in 50% of the rounds played, plus 1 round. All players will be automatically entered into the singles league. For the doubles league players must nominate their partners on the entry sheet provided in the Golf Shop. It is important that this is done before the league commences.

Each pair's score will be calculated by using the combination of their individual best scores in 50% of the rounds played, plus 1 round. There is no additional entry fee for these events over and above the normal Sunday competition fee.

Local Rule & Handicapping

For the duration of the Winter League competition the Committee has decided that Conditions of Play will be "Placing everywhere". In the event that you are in a bunker you can play the ball as it lies or you can "Rake and Place". Of course you should rake again after your shot so the routine should be Rake, Place and Rake again.

In order to ensure that as many people as possible get a chance to win each week the Committee has also decided that each weekly winner will have a one shot reduction in their handicap each time they win. This is an "internal" cut only for the duration of the Winter League and will not affect members handicaps in any other competitions.
